The FoodShed Opens at the Children’s Discovery Museum

For the FoodShed at the Children’s Discovery Museum in San Jose, BCV created a new look for the existing café, transforming it into an appealing place to enjoy food as well as promote the Museum’s educational message. BCV created an aesthetic that uses reclaimed and recycled materials throughout the café space. Hans Baldauf and Amelia Vogelheim brought a renewed focus to enjoying whole, fresh and seasonal food at the Ricardo Legorreta-designed museum, with initiatives like The Rainbow Station, a service counter that communicates the Museum’s commitment to fresh and healthy foods.
