Last weekend Chuck Williams, the legendary founder of Williams-Sonoma, passed away at the age of 100 in his San Francisco home. A force in the American culinary landscape, Chuck introduced millions of home cooks to tools, ingredients, and recipes never before seen in the United States.
BCV recently wrote a post celebrating Chuck’s centennial in October, and reflecting on our own experience working with him on projects for Williams-Sonoma. We honor Chuck’s extraordinary life, and are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it.
